Queens Artist Connection
The Queens Artist Connection exists to create a network where artists living in the beautiful and diverse borough of Queens can lean on each other for support, and demystify the process of operating as independent theaters and the current struggles facing creatives. Our goal is to create events to connect, maintain a database with current organizations/artists residing in Queens, and engage with other NYC based organizations, venues and resources that support Queens Artists.
Community Theatre Partnerships
Established in 2007 at St. Margaret Parish in Middle Village, Queens, with a mission to produce popular, original, and lesser known works to the parish and surrounding communities, Maggie’s Little Theater produces two shows annually. As part of that mission, Maggie’s Board of Directors selects plays and musicals they hope will entertain and enrich the patrons and the performers both.
The Parkside Players is a local community theater group that has been associated with the Grace Lutheran Church since 1981. It was established under the guidance of former Pastor Doug Haak with local theater enthusiasts. The goal of the group is to present quality productions at a reasonable price to entertain the local Forest Hills community.
